Nordic IPO of the Year 2024: NanoEcho
NanoEcho AB (publ) has been awarded the "Nordic IPO of the Year 2024" prize at a gala organized by Nordic Listed Leaders (NLL) in Helsinki, Finland. NLL is a newly established network for connecting and empowering leaders of publicly listed companies across the Nordic region.
Last Thursday, NLL hosted its gala, where several awards were presented. One of the key recognitions, "Nordic IPO of the Year," was awarded to NanoEcho. This award celebrates companies whose public listings go beyond financial success, emphasizing innovative solutions and positive societal impact, particularly in sustainability, social responsibility, and long-term value creation. NanoEcho was also featured in Finland's leading business magazine, Talouselämä.
“We are thrilled that our listing and our work have been recognized. Listing on Nasdaq First North Growth Market has been a significant milestone for the company's development, and we look forward to continuing our mission to improve rectal cancer diagnostics and create long-term value for our shareholders,” said Linda Persson, CEO of NanoEcho.
"This is the first year we have organized this event. The IPO Award was the only category covering the entire Nordic region, while the other awards—such as CEO of the Year, Board of the Year, Board Member of the Year, and Young Board Member of the Year—were selected exclusively from Finland.
Niko Pakalén won Young Board Member of the Year. Based in Sweden, he holds several board positions in publicly listed companies, including Sweden’s SKF Group.
Next year, we plan to expand all award categories to include Sweden as well. NanoEcho stood out as the best across all Nordic countries, based on our analysis and the jury's decision,' says Helene Auramo, founder of Nordic Listed Leaders."
